"Just because no one else can heal or do your inner work for you doesn’t mean you can, should, or need to do it alone." – Lisa Olivera
As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, I provide individual therapy to adults who are seeking guidance and support to cope with life's challenges.
I offer online therapy for adults in New York and specialize in treating depression, trauma, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, relationship issues, and stress related to life transitions (career changes, parenting challenges, divorce, etc.). My counseling approach is warm, person-centered and compassionate. It combines Cognitive Behavioral, Psychodynamic and Strengths-based techniques to address root causes of my clients' issues and to help alleviate symptoms. I also provide Dialectical Behavior Therapy for individuals who may want to develop skills including mindfulness to manage their emotions. I am able to provide counseling from a Catholic perspective for those interested.
My clients often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed or uncertain about ways to cope, but after working together, they feel more self-aware, hopeful, knowledgeable and empowered.
Sometimes, we can feel stuck and need guidance to move forward. Contact me to connect for a free fifteen-minute consultation and I can answer questions you may have about starting therapy. For more information, feel free to also visit my profiles on Alma and Catholictherapist.com:
